Grand Master Jae Y. Kim is the Head Master and Chief Master Instructor at Transcending Martial Arts. He has been studying martial arts for more than 45 years, including Tae Kwon Do, Kum Do, Iaido, Hapkido, Kickboxing, and Okinawan weaponry.
Certifications
Grand Master Jae holds an 8th Dan black belt in Taekwondo from Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters, and a 7th Dan in Kum Do.
Teaching Philosophy
He specializes in teaching martial arts to children. His method with young children and teens has helped thousands of young martial artists unlock their potential and build a positive self image. Grand Master Jae has been teaching children, teens, and adults in Canada for more than 30 years, and he presents the traditional elements of martial arts in a refined way to everyone who wants to learn.
